Robert is a native Philadelphian, received his BFA in jazz dance from the University of the Arts, studied Hoofin' (tap dance) under his mentor LaVaughn Robinson & Germaine Ingram two. He is a founding member, and currently the Artistic Director of Tap Team Two dance company.

Tap Team Two presents an old form of percussive dance called street tap dance, or hoofing. Hoofing is an American art form that evolved from the roots of African dance, Irish clogging, street and social dances of the early 20th century.
